Suzette Davenport QPM
Originally from North Yorkshire, Suzette Davenport started her policing career with West Mercia Police and has worked in a variety of roles in a number of Police Forces across the UK. Her 32-year police career included 12 years as a chief officer.
In 2011 she became ACPO’s (now NPCC) first female lead for roads policing, and in February 2013 was appointed chief constable of Gloucestershire Constabulary, retiring in April 2013. During this time she served as the UK council member of TISPOL, the European roads policing network, and was vice president of the British Association for Women in Policing for eight years.
In addition to her role as Chair of the UKROEd Board, Suzette is a Non-Executive Director of Acumen Consultancy Solutions.
