UKROEd’s work is highlighted at National Road Safety Conference

Chief Operating Officer Jon Robertson was given the opportunity to speak at the National Road Safety Conference earlier this week.
Jon outlined the role of UKROEd in managing speed and reducing risk on our roads through the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) and in particular shared details of the delivery of the National Speed Awareness Course since it was re-launched a year ago during a morning session focused on speed and speed management.
Jon spoke of the collaborative effort with academics, police and the wider road safety sector to change the hearts and minds of drivers when they attend our courses, the vast majority of whom tell us they will drive more safely and considerately in future to protect themselves and other road users.
He also shared details of how The Road Safey Trust supports projects which are focused on achieving safer speeds and speed management on our roads.
UKROEd would like to thank the organising committee for another excellent event and offer our congratulations to all involved.
