The webinar will be presented by David Wales, products and solutions manager at DriveTech (pictured below). David is an experienced and highly competent fleet risk management consultant who has extensive knowledge of driver training and fleet risk management interventions spanning 20 years and covering all aspects of the road transport industry. He has worked with many large high profile corporate and public sector clients providing innovative risk management solutions for both managers and drivers. David is a former transport manager, giving him first-hand experience of managing fleets and an appreciation of the challenges of businesses and drivers.

The event takes place on the first day of Project EDWARD. This is an initiative that started in 2016 as European Day Without A Road Death. For 2020, the project has evolved into EVERY Day Without A Road Death and will focus on those who drive for work. The campaign will be delivered in association with Police forces across the UK as well as Highways England through their Driving for Better Business Campaign, the Association of Road Risk Management (ARRM) and the charity TyreSafe. It will also support the One Road, One Week campaign of police enforcement activity to be held 14th – 18th September.
