How do I contact my course provider?

Once you have booked your course, you will receive your booking confirmation and joining instructions email, which will include all the information required to attend your course. If you misplace these emails, you can access your course details by logging into our website: www.thettcgroup.com

If you cannot find what you are looking for on our website, you can speak with a member of the team through our webchat facility, which is accessed through the “Contact Us” button at the top of the website.

Alternatively, you can speak with one of TTC’s experienced Service Delivery Agents by calling 0330 0241805 (we’re available Mon-Fri 08:00 to 17:30, Sat 08:30 to 14:00).

How do I attend a course?

Courses are available in both classroom and online formats.  TTC’s course booking process will guide you through the available course dates and times, offering a choice of classroom course locations and online digital courses.

What will I need for my course?

You must have photo identification to show to the trainer during the registration process.  More information about course requirements and the registration process can be found for each course by visiting TTC’s website.

In order to attend an Online Driver Awareness Course, you will need a device (such as a computer or laptop; tablet; smartphone) that has access to a stable internet connection; a web camera; microphone; speakers or headphones; enough battery charge to last the duration of the course.

Once you have successfully joined the online course, there are no tests or typing involved.  We do recommend that you have a pen and paper to hand, in case you need to make any notes during the course.

What platform will online courses be running on?

Your online course with TTC will be held via a secure video link, delivered on the Zoom platform.  Your booking confirmation email will give you a link to use to download Zoom Cloud Meetings in advance of your course, allowing you to test all of your equipment and seek technical support ahead of your course date.

If you need help preparing for an online course, TTC’s technical support team can arrange a pre-course call with you to answer any questions and work to resolve any issues that could prevent you from completing your course.

When will I receive my course joining instructions and where do I find them?

You will receive your booking confirmation email instantly, which will include details of your course and useful information to set up your device if you do not already have Zoom installed on your device.  For classroom courses, your joining instructions will include details on how to find your course venue, allowing you to plan your journey and arrive with plenty of time.

We will send you a SMS reminder 24-hours before your course as a helpful reminder.  For online courses, you will also receive an email containing your joining instructions the day before your course, including the Zoom course joining link.

If your email address or mobile telephone number has changed since making the booking, you will need to update this on DORS at https://offer.ndors.org.uk/#/home

I am about to start my online course but cannot access it, where do I find my joining instructions?

The first place to check is your email inbox, as you will have received the initial joining instructions, as well as a reminder email containing all required information the day before your course.

If you are unable to locate your joining instructions email, you can access the course link by logging in to the TTC website thettcgroup.com. You will need your driving licence number and postcode.

I am not very technical and worried that I won’t be able to take my online course.  What help can I get from my course provider?

TTC offers both classroom and online versions of the course.  Classroom courses are best suited for people with limited or no internet access.

Our online courses are incredibly simple to book and join, no matter your technical skill level or experience.

We recommend you test and prepare your device in advance of your course using the following link: https://zoom.us/test  TTC’s joining instructions include useful ‘how to’ instructions for testing your device, as well as a guide for joining your course.
