How Long will you Keep my Details on your System?

If you have attended an NDORS course, UKROEd will retain your record on our system (DORS+) for a period of three years and 6 months from the date of your offence.

This retention period consists of two components:

  • Eligibility Period:Once you complete your course, you will not be offered a course for the same type of offending for a period of 3-years from the date of offence.
  • Administrative Period: Eligibility Checks are carried out retrospectively after an offence has been detected and the driver identified. To support this eligibility check, we retain your record for an additional 6-months for the police to process any course offers for a new offence.

If you have not attended a course, your record will be kept on our system for a periodof 12-months from your offence date to support the police processes.

Access to your record on our system is strictly controlled to organisations and individuals who have a clear and justifiable business need to access your record. All access to your data is audited and, if you have created an account, you can see who has accessed your record under “Review My Account Activity” after you have logged in.
