We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest in our system.

The DORS+ system is accredited by the National Police Information Risk Management Team at the Home Office. They provide an independent review of the security processes and procedures that we have put in place.

The DORS+ system is subjected to independent security testing (at CHECK level) on an annual basis.

The DORS+ system is hosted, and your data is stored in, UK based data centres that have been accredited as Police Assured Secure Facilities. We do not store, process, or transfer your data outside of the UK.

In addition, we limit access to personal data held on the DORS+ system to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need-to-know and who have been vetted by the Police. All such access is audited, and such persons are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

You are able to see who has accessed your data via the account activity function when you login to your account.
